Opportunity

The current application does not represent the app’s purpose of being a central hub for multiple applications and products. It also lacks the a modern and clean look that would depict it as a high end, tech focused tool for professionals and businesses.

Goal

Bring the branding into the present through colors and simplicity. As this is the mother app, it should be a clean slate to house all its various products. The portal should be easy to read and navigate for any kind of user.

Login Explorations

Based on the shortcomings of the current brands and brands they were looking to, I created some designs for the login page. A page they heavily emphasized as an opportunity to showcase their modern brand.

The idea was to expand upon the relationship of Interchange as a platform with its associated products. The branding should evoke technology and professionalism. I explored these themes through these login screens.

Feedback

Based on the initial explorations, the client was able to pick and choose things they liked from each splash screen: the grouping of the products icons, the monochromatic color scheme, and the simplistic but vast background. Now with clear vision and further direction, I am able to consolidate the design to meet the product’s needs.

Landing Explorations

The landing page had a more narrowed direction. There was little information, but it was important for it to feel full. It is the central hub for all these products and will be managed by business professionals. So it should be easy to read and navigate. These explorations keep the portal simple and classic.

Feedback

These screens simplified and displayed the same information in a much more elegant way. Everything is easier to read, and overall there was no major feedback changes. Because these explorations were provided, it was easy for the client to just pick and choose tiny details from each to determine the final design.
